Working Principle of Servo Spin Riveting Machine
The servo spin riveting machine is an advanced riveting equipment mainly powered by servo motors. Its working principle involves several key processes.
Firstly, it adopts a servo motor as the power source. This motor features high-precision control and can accurately respond to commands from the control system. Different from traditional hydraulic or pneumatic drive, the servo motor runs on electricity only, which simplifies the power supply system, reduces energy consumption and environmental pollution.
Secondly, the precise control system realizes full-range accurate control of the riveting process. As the core component, it can flexibly adjust key parameters such as rotation speed, pressure and stroke according to different riveting requirements. For tiny high-precision parts, the system can precisely regulate the motor speed, control riveting pressure and stroke accurately, ensure correct positioning and force, and achieve micro-adjustments to guarantee riveting quality.
During actual riveting, the motor transmits motion to the spindle via a coupling, and the spindle further drives the spherical pair through a small-tooth-difference planetary mechanism. Meanwhile, the hydraulic system pushes the piston and the spherical pair downward. When the riveting head touches the rivet, it rolls the rivet without sliding along a specific trajectory (such as a quincunx path) around the rivet centerline. Through rotation and pressure, the rivet undergoes plastic deformation, firmly joining two or more workpieces to complete riveting.
